Sunday                   February 12, 2012                   Copperas Mountain                       Moderate

We will hike on the W&N row (future section of the West Morris trail) until the crossing area for burnt meadow brook (this according to folk lore was used in recent times (1890-1950) for Green-Ponders to get to the RR to go shopping). We will then walk north and up on the Copperas Mt. hillside going past a defunct mine to the ridge line. We then walk the ridge line further north to a view point looking east towards the southern end of Wildcat ridge WMA, then we will walk south on the ridge line to a knob with a 360' view. This area is on the TC map. About 6–7 miles total.

Foul Weather or poor driving conditions cancels this hike.
